Sick and disabled children enjoy day of fun and flying
Schiphol, 30 June 2011 – For the third year in a row JetSupport welcomed the Highflyer foundation at its facilities. The annual charity event at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is each year organized by the Highflyer Foundation and is dedicated to sick and disabled children and gives them the experience of being a pilot for a day. Over the past 4 years more than 4500 children got the opportunity to experience the fun of flying.
This year more than 150 volunteers helped the charity organization to arrange all that was necessary to welcome over 120 children and their families. The children got to enjoy lots of activities in both JetSupport hangar facilities as well as on the airport for round-tours and actual flights. Several operators and aircraft owners made their operation available for the flights.
