JetSupport Amsterdam has performed first C525 European retrofit of the Garmin G600Txi and new GFC600 autopilot

JetSupport, based in Amsterdam and Oberpfaffenhofen, recently performed an extensive upgrade on a Citation. The aircraft was previously equipped with legacy equipment, which faced obsolescence and operational limitations.

The newly installed flight deck contains Dual Garmin G600TXi flight displays, the recently certified GFC-600 autopilot, a modern stand-by GI-275 indicator and a new Garmin radar. Combined with dual GTN, this installation provides all operational features required to operate in today’s modern airspace with increased
situational awareness and the added bonus of wireless data loading.

The GFC 600 digital autopilot delivers superior in-flight characteristics and new operational capabilities such as autopilot-coupled Vertical Navigation (VNAV) descent, auto Course Deviation Indicator (CDI) switching, fully coupled go-around capability and much more. Further to this, the entire installation brings additional weight savings through the removal of the power inverter circuitry used in the legacy autopilot system.
